Job Description General Summary: This is a licensed, direct service position requiring advanced and specific knowledge of mental health, substance abuse, developmental disabilities, psychiatric and clinical nursing. This position involves managing the mental and physical health of the RTC members. Primary responsibility is delivery of nursing services to RTC residents served by RTC Program. The Nurse is expected, through training and experiences, to exercise independent judgment with the supervision of the Program Manager of Residential Treatment Center Program services. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Education : Possession of a bachelor's degree in nursing preferred or an associate degree in nursing with relevant work experience which uniquely qualifies the individual for the job. Possession of a valid license (RN or LPN) to practice nursing in the state of Maryland. Professional Experience: Two years positively referenced relevant work experience. Computer Skills : Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, ability to navigate through applications and utilize keyboard to input required documentation into electronic health record Driving Record: Safe Driving Record Background Check: Satisfactory Criminal Background Check Transportation: Valid driver's license or alternative transportation plan, valid auto insurance that names employee as insured driver. Availability of Work Schedule: Work primarily M-F business hours but must be flexible to adjust schedule to meet client needs including evening or weekend hours.
