The Surgical Specialty Team Manager is responsible for managing tactical activities in the operating room. These include but are not limited to the supplies, equipment and staff used to support their Surgical Specialties.A' They are responsible for ensuring team members are clinically competent to support their services on all shifts.A' A' Actively participate in activities focused on daily as well as projected resource allocation.A' Provide guidance to supply chain for changes to supply and equipment demand of service.A' A' He/she is responsible for identifying the need for, implementing and complying with all unit, hospital and applicable regulatory standards.A' The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for clinical and administrative decisions on the unit during the absence of the OR Director.A' He/she supervises all caregivers on the unit and service as a role model to staff.A' Accountable for performance metrics related to their service lines. A' A' Qualifications A' QUALIFICATION Education:A' A' A' A' A' A' Graduate of an NLN Accredited Nursing Program; BSN A' Certification:A' A' A' BLS required. CNOR preferred Licensure:A' A' A' A' A' A' Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia Experience:A' A' A' A' Must meet all RN requirements.A' Must demonstrate leadership skills.A' Peri-Operative Services:A' A' Operating Room:A' Two years of recent Operating Room experience preferred. Demonstrate written and oral communication skills.A' Leadership as well as management skills preferred.
