Westat has a new opportunity for a Proposal Coordinator on its Corporate Proposal Development team.  The Proposal Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating with the Proposal Manager and all supporting corporate proposal functions (i.e., editing, document production services, graphics, pricing, reproduction, and marketing systems) to facilitate development and delivery of a high-quality proposal following Westat standards and policies and to ensure proper archiving of materials in corporate proposal systems following submission and through to award. 

Duties
Serve as a proposal coordinator facilitating development of responsive and compliant proposals by:
•             Assisting proposal manager with drafts and corporate proposal systems
•             Helping to develop the proposal schedule and then monitoring the schedule through submission
•             Organizing and supporting proposal functions such as document production, graphics, editing, and pricingaa
•             Gather proposal draft materials, oversee formatting and production, distribute to team
•             Requesting and gathering resume updates via a database system
•             Requesting and updating experience sheets via a database system
•             Performing all tasks associated with past performance references and questionnaires
•             Conducting quality and Request for Proposal compliance checks
•             Coordinating final production
•             Submitting technical and business proposals and confirming receipt
•             Providing needed support in responding to and submitting follow up submissions (responses to questions and final proposal revisions)

Basic qualifications:
•             Some college with a minimum of 20 years of experience including 10 years of federal proposal experience.
•             Proficient in MS office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Outlook)
•             Excellent communication and judgment skills
Preferred qualifications:
•             Bachelor's Degree

Candidates should be detailed oriented and enjoy managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a deadline driven environment. These roles require flexibility and the ability to anticipate and resolve problems quickly in a team environment.
