DCS is seeking a test engineer to support test and evaluation of developmental assured positioning systems for dismounted applications.

Essential Job Functions:

The test engineer is responsible for planning and executing test events to acquire data used for system evaluation. This position requires coordination with external stakeholders (Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC), Army Evaluation Center (AEC), Army Futures Command (AFC), Director of Operational Test and Evaluation (DOTE), and other test facilities) to determine test and data requirements, identify limitations, and manage expectations. The test engineer writes appropriately scoped test plans, outlines test procedures, and provides quick-looks of test results. This position requires technical expertise in the area of GPS and sensors. Briefing to the team and senior leadership of test status, schedule, and results is expected.

Top Five Expected Duties:

Serve as a technical/functional expert in the test and evaluation of Dismounted Assured Position System (DAPS).

Prepare executive summaries, test plans, test procedures, and reports and update testing efforts within JIRA and Confluence.

Coordinate, participate and/or observe developmental and operational tests in support of DAPS Directed Requirement (DR) and Program of Record (PoR).

Provide strategic support to the test team in planning and coordinating activities with external stakeholders, materiel developers, and test facilities.

Facilitate after-action reports and brief the test team and/or leadership on testing status and schedule.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor's and at least 8 years' experience supporting test and evaluation of DoD systems.

A secret level security clearance is required.

Desired Skills:

DAU certification in Test and Evaluation.
