MIL currently holds several multi-year contracts with NAWCAD in the areas of Cyber, C5ISR, and Information Technology systems.

The MIL Corporation is seeking an Administrative Assistant I to support our Human Resources team of Southern Maryland. The Administrative Assistant will provide a variety of clerical and administrative support functions

Key Duties
  • Assist with on-boarding new employees and new hire orientations
  • Track offer letter contingencies
  • Track and maintain spreadsheets on new hires and terms
  • Track training agreements/education reimbursements
  • Assist with off-boarding
  • Monitor HR inbox and coordinate with HR team for action items
  • Provide assistance and information to employees and managers in regards to tax forms, accessing timesheets, relocation expenses, tuition and training reimbursement, Milton training, etc.
  • Coordinate company events for the Southern Maryland location

Required Qualifications
  • HS/GED and 2 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to work regular office hours, Monday through Friday; flexible hours may be required for special events
  • Excellent, professional verbal and written communication and telephone skills
  • Ability to work independently and with little supervision
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to multitask with great attention to detail
