Responsibilities

  • Cleans rooms, corridors, stairways, and other areas. Sweeps, mops, vacuums, scrubs, strips and polishes using light and heavy duty powered equipment.
  • Operates industrial equipment to clean rugs, drapes, etc. Performs routine maintenance of equipment. Cleans, disinfects and deodorizes toilet facilities. Cleans, and dusts assigned areas. Empties trash. May make beds and changes linen.
  • Washes walls, windows, blinds and ceiling fixtures using ladders, scaffolds and safety belt. Moves heavy furniture. Maintains stock of room and cleaning supplies to perform assigned duties.
  • Cleaning/Housekeeping for Thermo-Con House, Officer's Club Recreation guest rooms, Rustic Cabins, RV Trailers.
  • Cleaning of Building 778, to include bathrooms, trash, mopping and sweeping.

Conditions of Employment

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.
  • Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
  • Must meet physical requirements of the position.


Qualifications

Must have knowledge, skills and ability to perform the duties listed above to include the ability to use and maintain the tools and equipment of the trade, to keep the assigned work area neat and clean, and to communicate both orally and in writing.

HIGHLY QUALIFIED applicants must possess following qualifications:
  • a minimum of 2 years of custodial and/or Hotel Room service experience.
Highly qualified candidates will be referred to management first. The resume submitted at time of application must clearly identify all HQ's listed above..
