Associate, Integrated Marketing Strategy

The Role

Small Business Integrated Marketing is a passionate, entrepreneurial team of strategists focused on communicating the value of Capital One Business and its products to small business prospects and customers. We are seeking an innovative, insights-driven marketing strategist to support our acquisitions and direct response marketing and creative strategy initiatives. This person will partner closely with cross-functional teams across brand and product marketing, acquisitions marketing, creatives, and other stakeholders to activate marketing in unique and memorable ways.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive marketing campaigns, creative strategy and learning agendas across multiple acquisitions marketing channels to generate new accounts.
  • Develop creative briefs and work closely with creative partners to bring the business intent to life via compelling marketing channel creative deliverables.
  • Analyze creative performance results, marketplace trends, and customer insights to advance marketing strategies and optimize creatives.
  • Tell consistent and compelling stories about our products and services, while also championing our brand and the end customer experience.
  • Participate as the marketing strategy lead in collaborative cross-functional teams (e.g., business analysts, product managers, creatives, legal and compliance representatives, etc.)


Here's what you'll need to be successful:

  • Passion for marketing strategy and experience with a variety of marketing channels
  • Strong strategic planning, analytical, and creative skill set, with the ability to turn insights into actionable implications to form a marketing strategy and approach
  • Self-starter with the desire to build new skills and marketing strategy competencies
  • Detailed-oriented and can manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining excellent work
  • Thrives on collaboration, the opportunity to build in white space and the drive for results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to effectively storytell via decks


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 1 years of marketing, brand strategy, product or digital marketing with experience in managing multiple channels on agency or client-side


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business strategy or related business management vector
  • 1 year of B2B marketing experience in a fast-paced, technology-forward culture
  • Demonstrated success in defining and launching insights-driven integrated marketing plans to support sales teams
