RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client that is seeking a Financial Analyst in Arlington, VA. Key Tasks: Financial Analyst will review monthly actuals on both contracts and overhead Explain month over month variances Explain monthly variance against the budget As a Financial Analyst, you will work with business leaders and accounting teams to properly review coding of revenues items (prepaid vs. earned revenues) and cost items (Cost of Goods vs. Overhead) etc. Support the process of capitalization of internal labor for the development of software products and ensure proper depreciation overtime Financial Analysts perform headcount reporting Manage monthly order intake, accruals, and revenue classification reporting with respective finance and accounting business partners Job Requirements: REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent training Minimum of 4 years of experience working in finance or business administration roles; Energy industry knowledge and experience with SaaS or Software companies are preferred but not required Demonstrated ability on financial modelling, general accounting knowledge, familiarity with contract commercial terms, experience with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) processes Capability to manage the financial performance of organizational unit(s) to keep it on track with budget and other defined goals Working knowledge of Excel skills is required You enjoy working in a high growth environment and evolving commercial business model Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
