Position will install and maintain network equipment as well as support other IT functions. The ideal candidate is proficient in computer programs such as Microsoft Office and is current on network security trends. Possess product knowledge, technical skills and understanding of network standards to install and maintain networks. Excellent diagnostic, analytical and problem solving skills as well effective communication and project management. Essential Duties: Support LAN/WAN network equipment including switches, wireless access points and Windows 7/10 computers. Assist Network Administrators to configure, troubleshoot and replace equipment. Set-up and configure Motorola/Symbol portable RF scanners. Assist Help Desk with network related tier two support. Manage network equipment hardware and software upgrades. Preferred Education and Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Product knowledge and technical skills and understanding of network standards to install and maintain networks. Knowledge of network security as well as existing industry trends and advancement in computer technology. Excellent diagnostic, analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to perform accurate arithmetic calculation. Effective communication and project management. Ability to read and follow complicated instructions. Proficient use of computer programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook/Email. What is RE Michel Company?
