What you 'll be doing The Company Services team is looking for an Regional Vice President, Services Sales Leader for our Public Sector team to drive Services revenue growth from net new prospects and existing clients, while leading a team of Account Partners (aka Services Sales Executives). This role requires an understanding of Public Sector businesses, experience leading and developing high performing sales professionals and executing a sales strategy with operational rigor and cadence. As the RVP of Services Sales, you will be a revenue and team leader responsible for the Company Services sales function within an assigned territory - Public Sector. The position requires strategic, sound judgement, innovative thinking, and the ability to drive execution through strong leadership, the ability to build relationships, and partnering with peers across the company. Sales Responsibilities: Oversee the sales function of the Services business, which involves collaborating with the Sales team to guide Company customers through discovery and adoption planning discussions, reinforcing the Services value proposition, and ultimately closing Services deals. Leadership Responsibilities: Responsible for management and oversight of a sales team consisting of director level and individual contributor services sellers, and ensuring excellence in sales performance through customer focus, operational execution and a passion for driving success. This includes hiring, development, retention and management of the regional Account Partner (Services Sales) team. This role will be an active participant on the Global Services Leadership team, reporting to Company 's RVP of Services Sales, AMER, with close cross-functional partnerships across Solution Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Renewals, Marketing and Support teams to evangelize the value proposition of Company 's Professional Services and Education offerings to customers. Some of the things you'll be doing will include Establish sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for assigned region in support of national objectives. Work with direct reports on defining and executing regional services sales plans. Expand customer base by counseling account partners (services sellers); building and maintaining rapport with key customers; and working directly with reports on strategic new prospect opportunities Consistently meet quarterly and annual quota responsibility for Public Sector Territory. Ensure that all Account Partners and Directors achieve quarterly and annual Services, Support, and Training bookings quotas, as well as any other relevant performance metrics. Collaborate with Sales leadership and account executives to ensure Company 's relevant Services offerings are appropriately and effectively represented within assigned regions Ensure Account Partners and Directors understand customers ' business objectives and technical requirements in order to deliver compelling solution recommendations and proposals that connect insights to outcomes Create, review and approve Services proposals (scope, level of effort estimates, and schedules) and SOWs for presentation to customers Review, negotiate and approve legal contracts based on business terms while partnering with Legal on the final deliverable Collaborate delivery and engagement teams to develop processes and procedures to ensure that Services are consistently sold, processed and delivered with operational excellence and customer focus Partner with the Global Services Product Management team to develop and design Service offerings that meet the needs of Company 's Public Sector customers Provide regular reporting of pipeline and forecast using Company and other tools, roll up individual forecasts to overall Public Sector commitment on a weekly basis. Effectively and efficiently engage Public Sector Sales leaders and cross-functional business partners at appropriate stages in the sales cycle if needed to grow and advance the sale Responsible for hiring and managing direct reports as needed Who you are Experienced. 7+ years sales management experience, preferably in the Public Sector vertical with knowledge of complex, multi-vendor selling cycles and Solution Selling into IT and Mission Owners, with Demonstrated team management responsibilities including quota ownership for direct reports Customer Focused. Builds and maintains relationships with customers; shapes solutions that have significant positive impact on their business. Leader.
