Dominion is currently seeking outgoing, friendly, and responsible Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to act as mentors, friends, and role models for the individuals we serve in their homes and community. Essential Responsibilities and Job Duties: Support and teach individuals in various settings (in-home, group day and community settings) to help them develop life skills and reach their personal goals. Provide guidance towards appropriate behaviors during activities in the individual's home or community. Encourage engaging activities including games, crafts, exercise, and participating in community events. Teach skills to help individuals make choices and decisions to keep themselves health and safe. Assist with personal care tasks to ensure hygiene and nutrition needs are met. Provide transportation to appointments, meetings, community actives and event using your personal and insured vehicle. Assist in the identification, documentation, and assessment of individuals' support needs, activities, and daily progress toward service plan goals. Complete daily documentation to track progress of individuals' goals.
