Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking a Manager 3 Business Management for our Dulles, VA or Gilbert, AZ location. This Business Manager 3 position will be in support of the Space Vehicle Operating Unit, within the NSS Business Unit, under the Tactical Space Systems Division.The Business Manager will be responsible for all Business/Financial related responsibilities that would include but not limited to; Business Processes, Financial Planning/Forecasting, Proposals, Contracts, EVMS, and others. Will also oversee and report on the overall financial status associated with new and existing contracts, ensure sound financial baselines and forecasts are established, conduct a multitude of financial risk assessments and other analyses, and establish business practices that support the execution of current business and the capture of new business. The Business Manager must have experience and a working knowledge on program performance metrics and how they impact financial forecasts including Orders, Sales, Earnings and Cash. The candidate will be responsible for managing internal indirect budgets for the Operating Unit, as well as the tracking and reporting of Capital Investments.Other responsibilities will include participation in long range strategic planning and business growth initiatives; communication of execution issues with customer; support to Program Rhythm and Division/Sector Financial Reviews.This position will consist of team members reporting directly to the Business Manager. The Business Manager must have excellent communication skills at all levels within the organization, effectively handle and execute multiple tasks at once, and have an attention to detail and accuracy.Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree 9+ years of experience in financial planning/reporting, strategic planning, cost proposals, project execution/management, and/or budget controls and analysis. 4+ years of experience in a management role Experience and knowledge of EVMS Strong understanding of government contracting and regulations, to include FAR and CAS. Experience with standard business systems (Costpoint/SAP, Cognos, Cobra/MPM, MS Excel). Must have a current and active Top Secret clearance Salary Range: 118500 - 205800 Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
