The Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking a Capture Manager 3 to work as part of the sector team participating in priority captures and proposal activities. Participant will lead Independent Capture Assessment activities for all Strategic Priority Pursuits. McLean, VA preferred location. Will consider additional NG DS major locations.Responsibilities include: Participate in priority captures, proposals and reviews Facilitate strategy sessions and other priority capture activities Support the development of internal tools, templates, training Lead, schedule, coordinate, execute, and document Independent Capture Assessments for sector priority opportunities Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 10 years of related experience in business development, capture, management, proposal management, program management. At least 3 years of experience leading competitive captures. 4 additional years of relevant business development, program, or technical experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Demonstrated capture leadership of complex opportunities Must demonstrate outstanding organizational skills in BD or program management Must demonstrate excellent skills in critical thinking and written/verbal communication Must be proficient using MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time Preferred Qualifications: Experience in International programs, captures, proposals, and contracts - Experience with Agile techniques and tools Active DoD (Department of Defense) Security Clearance Salary Range: 166056 - 249084 Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
