Beacon Hill Financial is working with a government services company in Bethesda, MD to identify a Revenue Accountant! The Revenue Accountant will have the opportunity to lead the revenue accounting function for the company and work directly alongside the Controller. Job duties: Cash Receipts - performing daily data entry and filing of cash receipts. Full cycle billing - preparing manual monthly invoices, posting, and maintaining documents. Revenue Recognition - performing monthly contract revenue recognition. Responsible for Project module - maintaining and setting up projects Preparing monthly financial summary reports for project managers. Coordinating month-end and year-end closing processes for Accounting. Coordinating all audits of company's accounts. Performing all other duties/reports/analyses as requested. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in accounting or a related field. 2 + years of experience in Deltek Costpoint accounting software. Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Need strong; collaboration, teamwork, interpersonal, and written communication, skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
