Responsibilities:We are seeking an experienced and responsible full-stack javascript developer to maintain a custom inspection system built in React. The backend is a serverless environment primarily using Firebase (Node), but also has a few Google Cloud elements.The engineer will be responsible for maintaining current test protocols, improving system stability, and evaluating new methods of logging and testing that contribute to system stability.The ideal candidate is familiar with small team software development and is comfortable with both self-starting and being directed by a project manager.This is a temporary, six-month project, but has the potential to transition to a full-time position.Qualifications:Required5+ years of professional experience with Javascript2-3 years experience with React2-3 years experience with Node2+ years experience with Google Firebase2+ years experience with Google Cloud (pub/sub, logging)2+ years working with elastic search (elastic.co)Experience writing unit tests for large system stabilityFamiliarity with CI/CD practicesPreferredSQLPython / PandasSolid CSS and design instinctsExperience in solar, cleantech, or other energy spaceCompany Overview:Bring your passion, expertise, and experience to IBTS, where we appreciate and are committed to our employees.
