AccelerEd is seeking a motivated and dynamic Learning Support Specialist to be part of our team focused on next generation learning experiences. The Learning and Innovation team is at the forefront of developing learning experiences in a fast-paced and technically rich environment contributing to many AccelerEd initiatives. The Learning Support Specialist will support and integrate solutions for innovative learning using new approaches and technologies. This team member will contribute to the effective integration, support and management of platforms and technologies that support next generation learning experiences. Including but not limited to; learning management systems, content management systems, and third party and custom developed learning technologies. Communication and culture are also core responsibilities in this role.RESPONSIBILITIES:Learning Management SystemAssist in implementing and testing LMS features and functionsSupport the integration of third-party tools and LTIsSupport the Model Sign Off Process for programs and coursesCreate reports and analyze data from the LMS and LTI toolsContent Management SystemManage user accounts, groups and permissions for supported content management systemsGenerate reports for the content management systemsInitiate and approve workflows and content publishing within the CMSMonitor and troubleshoot integrated system transactions and manually run feeds as neededSupportTroubleshoot and resolve tier 3 support requestsProcess content change requests and maintain content versioningGenerate reports for the ticketing systemCollaborate with stakeholders and other support teams as neededPerform testing, analyze testing results, and report errors to appropriate teamsCreate user stories for bugs, enhancements or new technologiesAuthor and maintain process and product documentationDevelop training materials to assist end users with the use of learning technologiesProvide excellent customer servicePerform other job-related duties as requiredMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:EducationBachelors degree in information technology, or related field or commensurate experienceRequired Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesExperience with learning development applicationProficient in the use of Microsoft Office productsExcellent technical writingExperience identifying potential risks and opportunities, root cause analysis and problem solvingAble to work independently and on a teamPassion for new technologies and educationExcellent communication, organizational, and time management skillsAble to concurrently manage multiple assignments and deadlinesPreferred QualificationsExperience administering Learning Management Systems, preferably D2L Brightspace and/or Content Management System (running reports, configuring settings, testing, etc.)Experience with sound project management methodology and skillsTraining experienceBasic knowledge of HTML, HTML5, and CSSby Jobble
