Our organizational culture attracts and rewards people who are results-oriented and interested in making a positive impact on their community as well as their own career.The HR Manager will provide a full range of services including but not limited to providing management guidance with employee relations, recruitment, performance management, workplace investigations, policy interpretation, ADA administration, corrective action, and compensation. Responsibilities Human Resources Manager Primary Responsibilities:* Point person for employee relations including investigations, issues with co-workers, supervisors, or other relevant matters including implementation of progressive discipline approaches.* Design, development and management of performance management procedures for assigned client group including timely delivery and actionable reporting.* Take ownership of risk mitigation & management* Back-up for onboarding of new hires* Lead in development of HR Policy interpretation and implementation* Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.* Conduct stay and exit interviews* Design, lead and facilitate staff trainings on HR curriculum* Embody a customer service orientation to ensure timely responses, proactive communications, proper follow-up* Work collaboratively with clients to develop and support strategic workforce plans* Conduct organizational analysis and development to ensure effectiveness, accountability and employee engagement.* Assist in integrating new staff/business lines when Company wins new contracts/business* Enhance culture and drive employee engagement* Partner with Senior Operations Director and HR Business Partner to develop employer brand and value proposition* Assist with benefit administration and payroll processing.* Administer EEO/AAP and diversity initiatives* Serve as point person on various audit requests.* Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.* Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment lawSecondary Responsibilities:* Assists with the talent acquisition process when necessary, which may include interviewing and hiring of qualified job applicants for all roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Qualifications Required Skills:* Demonstrated skill in the areas of employee relations, policy development & interpretation and performance management* Proven ability to identify and analyze trends, making sound action plans as a result* Proficiency using Microsoft Office* Comprehensive knowledge of and ability to ensure compliance with relevant state, federal and local employment laws* Proven ability to quickly establish credibility and build relationships* Strong organizational and time management skills.* Strong work ethic and the ability to independently manage simultaneous projects with multiple deadlines* Customer service / client orientation * Excellent oral and written professional communication skills* Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.* Highly developed listening, analytical and creative problem-solving skills* Ability to maintain strict confidentiality on sensitive materials and issues* Ability to facilitate discussions and meetings; strong knowledge of training and facilitation techniques; excellent presentation skills* Proven ability to coach and empower supervisory staff relative to correctly interpret and implement relevant HR policies & procedures.* Ability to travel to assigned offices, as needed* Budget experience preferred* Familiarity with ATS/VMS/TK/HRMS systems* Demonstrated ability to manage payroll and benefit programs Qualifications* Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of HR experience OR an Associate's degree with at least 7 years of HR experience.* SPHR/PHR preferred.* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist/Business Partner role.* 3 years of supervisory experience preferred.* Demonstrated experience working in collaboration with a wide range of managers and employees to resolve employee relations issues.* Experience working in an organization with numerous locations and a remote workforce is highly preferred.* Experience in both an operations-focused and professional services environment strongly preferred.* Experience and proficiency with Ceridian Dayforce is a major plus.* Demonstrated capability for completing audit requests in a detailed, timely and accurate manner.* Must be willing to travel to remote office locations from time to time.* Experience in a fast-paced, high-performing, high demand customer-facing environment.* Experience and independence in remaining current with HR best practices.* Proficient in the full suite of Microsoft Office products and Google.* Must be team focused and a catalyst for the success of the whole team.
