If you understand remote sensing platforms and ground systems, geospatial data, and have strong engineering skills we want you on our team! We are looking for a strong systems engineer with independent, collaborative, and entrepreneurial skills to manage execution that exceeds government expectations.As a team leader you will aid the integration of emerging geospatial data sources and analytic capabilities into intelligence community architectures. You will focus on developing requirements and making unbiased recommendations for integrating geospatial solutions to maximize MITRE's impact across our customers.Key Functions of this Role Include:Provide unbiased independent assessments and recommendations for improvement of ground systems solutions developed under contract for the governmentProvide technical recommendations on courses of action, areas to watch and other topics as neededBuild and manage collaborative teams for MITRE and the SponsorAnalyzing and architect IT/Cloud Services and Technologies to meet missionRequired Qualifications:BS Degree, 8 years related experienceActive TS/SCI Polygraph clearanceSuperior customer engagement and communication skills to be able to work seamlessly across MITRE, government, and contractor teamsExperience with geospatial products, analytics, and services as well as satellite systems, processing, exploitation, and dissemination systemsAbility to develop creative approaches to address tough government challengesPreferred Qualifications:Technical remote sensing sensor expertise (EO, SAR, HSI, LIDAR)Knowledge of NGA and NRO systems and architecturesFoundation in System Engineering principals and experience applying that knowledge to real world problemsDemonstrated ability to lead and collaborate across multiple teams working on large and diverse projectsDesire to learn and be part of a fast-paced and complex technical effortThis requisition requires the candidate to have a minimum of the following clearance(s): Top Secret/SCI/PolygraphThis requisition requires the hired candidate to have or obtain, within one year from the date of hire, the following clearance(s): Top Secret/SCI/PolygraphMITRE is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
