The individual is responsible for following the established installation processes,including filling out checklists and reporting on his progress to the management. This positionrequires extensive travel at short notice and for extended periods.Typical work activitiesIndividuals in this position will perform the following activities:+ Perform testing and staging of equipment.+ Follow guidelines and procedures to install Photo Enforcement equipment in the field.+ Troubleshoot equipment and installation in the field.+ Document installation configurations in checklists and diagrams.+ Perform initial image quality evaluation and adjustments and document the results.+ This position reports to the Implementation Manager+ This position requires extensive travel in the US and may include travel abroad at short notice.+ This position requires a prolonged stay at the project site until the project is completed.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required+ Knowledge:+ Technical understanding of sensor technologies, electrical power systems and communications+ Knowledge of photo and video camera operation+ Skills:+ Prepare troubleshooting plans+ Execute the troubleshooting plan, including measurement of electric circuits, such as power levels, voltage, current, inductances, resistances, and capacitors.+ Create wiring diagrams+ Read, understand and follow wiring diagrams+ Must follow-up on all outstanding installation issues until resolution+ Communicate problems and progress clearly and concisely with team members and management+ Follow prescribed procedures and processes+ Document work, as directed, including writing short technical reports+ Must be detail-oriented+ Must use SharePoint, Jira, Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Teams, and other reporting systems, as directedAbilites:+ Lift at Least 50lbs of equipment+ Work on a ladder and in a bucket truck+ Work independently in the field+ Plan and coordinate installation fieldwork with other support staff+ Must follow safety procedures at all times, and especially while working in the field.Minimum Job Qualifications+ Education:+ Bachelor's degree in systems or electrical engineering or related technical degree is preferred with 1 (one) year experience in the installation of sensors systems in an industrial environment or+ Associate degree in a technical field with 5 (five) years of relevant installation experience or+ Training courses and certificates in electronic sensors and systems with at least 10 (ten) years of relevant installation experience.+ Knowledge of+ Sensor technologies+ Electrical circuits+ Photo camera and video operation+ Transportation-related technologies and systems are beneficial.+ Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to commicate to internal teams, vendors, contractors, and customers.+ We are seeking an individual with strong personal integrity and commitment to ethical behavior.+ Must be self-motivated+ Must be able to work without supervision but report on progress to supervisor+ Must be prepared to stay at the site until the project is completely tested, all systems configured and monitored for stability at least for 24 hours during the day and night+ Must be prepared to work long hours and over the weekend and during the night, as the project requires+ Must be ready to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure to meet project deadlines.+ Must have effective written and verbal communication skills in a multi-cultural environment.+ Work requires moderate physical activity, primarily in fabrication shops and construction site locations.+ The work environment involves minimal exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.+ Other duties as assigned.Conduent is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, creed, religion, ancestry, national origin, age, gender identity, gender expression, sex/gender, marital status, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, medical condition, use of a guide dog or service animal, military/veteran status, citizenship status, basis of genetic information, or any other group protected by law.People with disabilities who need a reasonable accommodation to apply for or compete for employment with Conduent may request such accommodation(s) by clicking on the following link, completing the accommodation request form, and submitting the request by using the "Submit" button at the bottom of the form.
