Description Summary: The Yorktown Systems Group Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP) supports the US Army National Guard based out of 6 locations across the Nation by providing training, exercise, and network support. Our contractor employees provide operator, instructor, technical, and administrative support necessary to sustain and enhance the effective training of U. S. Army National Guard commanders and their staffs. Each training team assists units in exercise preparation, planning, seminars, execution, evaluation, and training of controller personnel on the use of various simulation/stimulation systems. Training is couducted at the MTCSP hard stand locations and at numerous National Guard locations across the 54 States and Territories by MTT (mobile training teams).The Program Manager is a full-time, on-site, leader that is fully qualified and has the corporate decision-making authority to effectively and rapidly respond to TO requirements. The PM serves as the principal point of contact with the KO and COR for all technical requirements in the TO and the supervisor for Contractor employees assigned to this TO.Specific duties may include, but are not limited to: Responsible for matters concerning the TO including negotiating and approving changes to the TO, taking all actions necessary to ensure TO compliance and proper performance of all work assigned, and authority for managing on-board personnel, and acquisition of additional or replacement personnel as needed. Be available during normal operating hours within 45 minutes of notification to meet in person or by phone with the Government site leads, and/or the KO/COR. Responsible for all work at the 6 MTCSP locations and the simultaneous execution of multiple MTTsRequired Qualifications: Must have intimate knowledge of the task organization, culture, geographic locations, mission/training priorities, and training/resourcing procedures and polices of the US Army National Guard BS or BA degree in Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline and Three (3) years of experience in the management of projects or programs of similar size, scope and complexity or a Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline with four years of experience in the management of projects or programs of similar size, scope and complexity Graduate of ILE (Command and General Staff Officers Course) or equivalent level military schooling. Five (5) years' of experience in support project/study management with at least three of those five years as upper level management. Successfully served as a battalion or brigade commander. Minimum of four years experience in managing an office executing a variety of contracts covering multiple functional areas preferred. Recent mission command training experience at battalion command level or higher. In-depth knowledge of the live, virtual, constructive, and gaming training systems.
