Customer Service AssistantJob Summary:The Customer Service Assistant is responsible for the daily customer service functions within the organization. The Customer Service Assistant is passionate about building strong customer relationships, driving customer satisfaction, and increasing overall customer engagement. The Customer Service Assistant addresses inquiries from policyholders and agents and provides support and information regarding the company's products and services. This is an entry level position. The Customer Service Assistant reports to the Office Administrator.Duties include:*Scans documents into ImageRight system.*Reconciles general ledger and applicable bank accounts.*Handles incoming phone calls from agents and policyholders.*Processes credit card receipts in computer system.*Processes billing transactions and various customer notices.*Performs inquiries for policyholders regarding general policy information.*Prepares all agency documents.*Prepares and sends out monthly agency letters.*Handles all mortgage changes and policy processing.*Maintains and handles all agency mailboxes (ie, placement, creating mailing labels, etc.).*Prepares Agency mail to be sent out and assists with digital document review and delivery.*Updates Agency databases and lists.*Assists the Office Administrator in other matters as needed related to the customer service functions within the organization.*Performs other duties as assigned.Competencies* Customer Service oriented* Detail oriented* Organized* Communication Proficiency* Ethical Conduct* Problem Solver* Highly motivatedEducation and ExperienceBachelor's Degree is preferrable. Proficient computer skills to operate platforms within Microsoft Office applications for word processing, general ledger, policy management, and spreadsheets. And understanding of PDF file management is preferred.
