Job Description CDL A / Excavator Equipment Operator - Sewer & Excavation Team Excavator Equipment Operator - Sewer & Excavation Team - Baltimore Metro We're seeking a CDL - A EQUIPMENT OPERATOR with experience in Loading & Unloading equipment Heavy Equipment Operator Mechanic VERY COMPETITIVE PAY RATES $$ BASED ON EXPERIENCE WITH INCREASES UP TO $28 / HR This position is responsible for heavy equipment operations with excavation projects, mainly residential sewer line replacements. Candidate will have at least five (5) years' experience in the operation of backhoes. Must be familiar with safety and trenching regulations. Keep equipment operational by following operating instructions, troubleshoot breakdowns and keep supervisor informed at all times. Come join our growing team Guided by values of extraordinarily reliable, same day service and strong customer relationships, we've grown over 20 years to become one of the leading residential & commercial plumbing companies in the Baltimore-Washington region Duties Responsible for the safe operation of excavating equipment Ensure trench is excavated to the proper depth/grade Transport excavation equipment to designated job sites Be aware of changes in soil conditions and materials that impact operations Ensure that all work is conducted in a safe and responsible manner Maintain MOSH/OSHA compliance on jobsite Be observant of the condition of equipment and materials used to ensure that company standards are met and promptly report any problems or defects.
