This CPA Professional provides thought leadership, consulting, and training for the firm in the areas of S and C corporations, partnerships, estate & trusts, and individuals. The ideal candidate will bring a high energy, creative ideas, and an entrepreneurial spirit to our firms growing tax practice. This person wants to make a difference with their work career and takes great pleasure in growing and leading a team by example to be known for excellence in client service. This candidate would share accountability with other partners to ensure that clients receive exceptional service and final products/reports are provided in a timely and accurate manner.ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor tax professionals at all levels to meet the objectives of the practice as well as individual professional development goals, providing constructive feedbackMeet with clients to assess their current needs and propose solutionsDevelop and sustain strong client relationships to become their most trusted business advisorKeep up-to-date on current tax procedures and changes in tax regulations/lawsActively participate in internal and external tax trainingsTrain, supervise and delegate assignments to tax managers, seniors, and staffReview complex tax returns and associated workpapers prepared by staff, senior and managers and provide timely, specific and meaningful feedbackPlan and manage budgets, billing, and staffingManage engagements effectively to ensure exceptional client service along with profitability.Develop, supervise, and delegate assignments to tax managers, seniors, and staff accountants.Review complex tax returns and associated workpapers prepared by staff, senior and managers and provide timely, specific and meaningful feedbackIdentify new client, business development opportunities, and strategic growth initiativesQualificationsSuccess leading, motivating and inspiring a team of diverse people10+ years of public accounting tax experience - preparing and reviewing all types of tax returns and providing tax adviceDemonstrated experience managing multiple client engagements with a financial accounting background.Strong experience with Individual Taxation (high net worth)Experience in Trust & Estate Planning and Family Office ServicesExperience in small businessExperience in family limited partnership and operating partnershipsUnderstanding of complex organizational structuresStrong public accounting management experienceExcellent customer service skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple high-level workCPA License Bachelors or Masters Degree in Accounting or Tax BenefitsAdditional InformationCompetitive SalaryGenerous PTOFlexible office location (Westborough, Wellesley, Boston, remote)Comprehensive benefits packageBonus planAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.by Jobble
