System / Project Engineer Project Engineer will be responsible for Office 365, Windows server, and Active Directory. Provide Microsoft Office 365 security improvements initiatives, supporting the entire organization. Primary Job Responsibilities The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Implement and support Microsoft 365 and related technologies including but not limited to, Intune, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Azure, Exchange Server, Teams, OneDrive, Directory Synchronization, Windows 10 Enterprise, and BitLocker Encryption. Collaborate to drive the adoption of changes around each MS 365 product including Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint Online. Support customer assessments and pre-sales engagements with a focus on Active Directory and Microsoft platform technologies Assist with the oversight and maintenance of wired and wireless networks, this includes the management of the firewalls, AP's, switches. Provide day to day IT operations technical support to business and technical users in multiple facilities in a Windows, Active Directory, Office 365, SharePoint environment. Maintain and update MS 365 governance documentation with MS 365 product owners. Maintain PowerShell scripts used to manage/support the MS 365 environment. Assist Desktop Engineering team in design/management of on Active Directory workstation OU structure and group policies. Provides guidance on bug fixes or critical updates that need to be applied urgently and assists in coordination and implementation of such updates. Participate in compliance and security reviews as needed. Work closely with other internal teams to build security, reliability, and scalability into the MS 365Azure architecture. Hands-on technical experience with MS 365 and across collaboration products and services (Desktop Sharing; Desktop Audio and/or Video meetings; etc.) Engage with vendors where needed on incidents within the environment. Troubleshoot and correct mid-level incidents and requests following established administrative and corporate policies/procedures; Perform to SLA goals. Ensure documentation of test and contingency plans as needed for implementation. Outline support and sustainment model for service(s) being implemented including detailed technical design components needed for implementation. Executes project tasks with limited direction. Participate in detailed requirements gathering sessions. Contribute and participate in the creation of recommended solutions with team collaboration. Participate in 24/7 on call rotation and after-hours support escalations. Skills: O365, Active Directory, Azure AD, Azure Information Protection, AIP, PowerShell, Firewall, Switches, Windows Server. Experience 2+ years of hands-on experience in Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Server and Exchange. Thorough understanding of emerging hybrid cloud environments (public & private) Demonstrated experience delivering Microsoft infrastructure solutions including domain trusts, group policy and user management, security groups, child domains, DNS, DHCP, certificate authorities, NPS, IIS, ADFS, NTFS permissions and file shares Expertise delivering M365 solutions, including Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, One Drive and Teams Experience in the administration and support of Active Directory, ADFS, MFA, and Azure AD Experience configuring Microsoft 365 services such as OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online, Teams and Skype for Business Configuration, support and administration experience with Exchange Server and Exchange Online - Hybrid deployments Hands on experience with Exchange to Microsoft 365 migration Azure AD Connect setup and configuration Demonstrated ability to perform consulting, architecture, implementation, support, and migration to cloud platforms (eg Microsoft Azure, AWS, Red Hat Cloud Suite, Google Cloud Platform, OpenStack, VMware, etc.) Demonstrated experience providing outstanding customer service, exceptional technical resolution, and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills Understanding or experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions such as Enterprise Mobility Suite (EMS) Understanding of DLP and EOP (Exchange Online Protection) Support and troubleshooting of desktops and servers Proven self-starter with a strong sense of accountability, high degree of initiative, dependability, and ability to work with little supervision Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related area and A+, Network+, Security+, MCSE or other MS certifications. (a plus to have).
