We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to become a Boulevardian! You will conduct quantitative analyses of various investment and financial programs, focusing on Department of Defense (DoD) clients. You will provide US Navy and other clients with project management, analytical, and procedural support. Job requirements include: Provide input to facilitate data driven decisions, and recommendations based on analytical findings. Apply business process methods and models in structured and unstructured environments, including lead, direct, or participate in business case development. Ensure timely product delivery and value, including working within varying degrees of management oversight and responsibility. Maintain responsibility for self-directed engagements or highly visible and tightly managed endeavors. Lead or participate in working with groups, strategic engagements, and other office responsibilities. Occasional on-site (client site) meetings and work requirements will be required at roughly once per week or two to three times per month. A SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE (or ability to receive a security clearance) is required. US citizenship is REQUIRED.Responsibilities:Conduct cost analysis on DoD (primarily Navy) financial programs and operationsDetermine financial status and analyze forecast resultsPerform month-end client valuation for assigned fundsResolve accounting errors on a timely basis with documentationPrepare historical cost and predictive cost modelsRequired Qualifications:4+ years of experience with US Navy financial systems (eg, PBIS)4+ years of experience with US Navy and DoD programmatic processes such as PPBEExperience in accounting, finance, or other related fieldsAdvanced spreadsheet skillsStrong attention to detailStrong analysis and critical thinking skillsAdditional Qualifications:Experience with Visual Basic for Application (VBA)Experience with analytical technology areas, including databases, business intelligence, or data visualizationProject Management Professional (PMP), Business Analysis, including CBAP or PMI, PBA, or Six Sigma, including Green or Black belt certificationSecurity Clearance:Secret clearance is required.
