MLT has created a thriving network of more than 8,000 rising leaders and is fundamentally transforming the diverse talent pipelines at its partner organizations, including more than 100 leading corporations, nonprofits, and graduate business schools.ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITYBuilding on the success of MLT's signature undergraduate program, Career Prep, we are now preparing to launch a university-based college-to-career solution to help thousands of students of color each year secure career-path jobs and translate their degrees into economic mobility for themselves and their families. Starting in Summer 2021, MLT will partner with three universities to deliver a college-to-career program to 1,500 rising juniors and seniors of color. MLT will also partner with each university and an independent evaluator to conduct a rigorous evaluation to demonstrate that students who receive our support land better jobs with higher starting salaries.The Sr. Associate, Turn Pro by MLT Program Coordinator supports the Turn Pro by MLT Program Managing Director and Evaluation Director to launch and carry out the university-based program. The ideal candidate for this role is highly solutions-driven, organized, and able to interface with a variety of stakeholders, has experience supporting program management and coordination, is energized about being involved in launching a new program offering, and passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion, and ideally, will have experience with and insight into the communities we serve. While the Sr. Associate, Program Coordination is preferably based in MLT's DC-area (Bethesda, MD) office, remote work is also an option.KEY RESONSIBILITES: Support MLT University Program General Manager and the Program Data & Analytics Director to carry out program management initiativesCoordinate meetings and communications for university leaders and staff, university students, coaches, regional employers, and MLT teamDisseminate key meeting and communications materials, including emails and newsletters as well as accurate and consistent meeting minutes and notesWork with MLT University Program Data & Analytics Director to collect and ensure program data integrity, including but not limited to student interview and job placement informationIdentify opportunities for day-to-day process improvements, including acting independently to implement solutions where appropriate, and suggesting further improvements to overall program processes With supervisor input, partner with MLT Events team and university partners to manage end-to-end logistics and communications for in-person and virtual trainings, events, and webinars QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree, with 2-3 years of experience preferredExperience supporting program management and coordinationHigh emotional intelligence, with the ability to interface with both external and internal stakeholders at all levelsExperience working with schools/universities and school/university officials, in order to understand each school's value proposition for its studentsCompelling oral and written communications skills, with a proven ability to craft effective audience-centered communicationsFluidity with technology to support MLT's data-centered approachStrong organizational skills and attention to detailComfort thriving in an entrepreneurial, team-oriented, and cross-functional environmentCommitment to equity, interest in the non-profit sector, and passion for MLT's mission
