We are looking for an experienced and motivated -COMMERCIAL CODE INSPECTOR in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area.Inspection Responsibilities:Evaluation of commercial construction for compliance with the appropriate codes and other applicable regulationsMaintain clear, concise, and comprehensive records and reports related to inspection activitiesPerforming a life safety inspection Required SkillsCurrent ICC certifications for ICC Building (B2), Mechanical (M2), Electrical (E2), Plumbing (P2), Fire (F2) and other applicable local codes Must possess prior inspection experience of commercial constructionValid driver's license with own transportation required, mileage reimbursedStrong verbal and written communication skillsTeam player and able to work well with clients and co-workersStrong problem solving skillsMicrosoft Word, Microsoft Office, Excel Education: High School Diploma/ Associates Degree and 2-5 years' experience as an inspector performing building inspections; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to work flexible schedule, including off-shift hours and weekends in a construction environment is required.This is a full-time position with opportunity for paid vacation, paid holidays, 401K, medical and dental insurance offered.
