As our business is rapidly growing, we are looking for a Director of People Experience to help us to continue to attract and retain top talent, build an environment where our people thrive, and add formal business processes that support scale and sustainability. As the go-to person for all things related to our People Strategy, you will manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle and be in the critical position to recommend and implement People initiatives that advance Pinkston's core values and enable our continued growth. As a results-oriented leader, you will measure impact through meaningful metrics that provide insight into performance on hiring, engagement, and other key aspects of our People programs.We are looking for a leader to bring enthusiasm and passion for building a comprehensive program over time to support the organization and individuals' goals. We have plenty of ideas about how you will add value in this role, but we are also looking for someone who brings their own perspective to advise our managers and executives on best practices. We need someone who can bring a strategic lens and a hands-on approach to the following areas of responsibility:Overall People StrategyDevelop an overarching People Strategy in collaboration with the executive team that is aligned with the broader strategy and goals of the businessCollaborate with executives and hiring managers to implement People Programs that support the overall People StrategyOversee the further development of our diversity and inclusion initiatives, focused on hiring a diverse workforce and promoting a culture of inclusion and belonging for allStay up-to-date on HR-related laws and regulations to ensure we maintain compliance Talent Acquisition & OnboardingDrive workforce planning efforts to analyze and forecast hiring demands and talent gapsImplement a recruiting strategy that elevates our status as a highly sought after place to workImplement a hiring process that helps hiring managers consistently identify, evaluate, and hire top performers into the right rolesCoach and support hiring managers on recruiting and interviewing efforts and best practicesReview orientation and onboarding process and make recommendations for improvements Engagement & RetentionIdentify and act on opportunities to improve and optimize aspects of the employee lifecycleDrive initiatives to regularly measure and continuously improve employee engagementEvaluate employment engagement survey tools and programs and recommend a product for implementation Performance Management & Professional DevelopmentSupport development of standardized performance management processes that foster professional development and continuous improvementProvide coaching and resources to managers for people management and performance feedbackServe as the primary conduit for addressing challenges related to performance and other concerns Compensation & BenefitsEvaluate job titles, descriptions, levels, and compensation across the business and propose areas for improvement that would support scaleSupport design of compensation and bonus programs, ensuring alignment with broader people strategyOversee benefits design and administration including insurance, 401k, PTO, etc. Systems and SupportEvaluate current technology systems and support tools and make recommendations about improving functionality, experience, and/or costsAs you are onboarded into the Director of People Experience role, you will work with the executive team to prioritize initiatives and outline a roadmap that will result in continued success. Key Criteria/Requirements5+ years of progressive experience in HR (or another business discipline focused on people or change management) Passion for building people/culture programs and a track record of spearheading impactful change management effortsDemonstrated experience designing, implementing, and supporting HR processes and programs - recruitment, hiring, performance management, etc.Experience driving change and positive results through collaborationExperience evaluating, implementing, and utilizing HR systems - ATS, HRIS, etc. - is preferredExperience integrating across multiple teams to drive and manage changes related to HR systems and processesExperience in a mid-sized (75-500 employees), fast-growth company highly desiredWorking knowledge of Mac OS, Google Workspace, and other cloud-based programs such as Slack, MS Office, etc
