About the Company and Opportunity: Our new client is a start up located in Annapolis, MD that oversees commercial investment properties Due to growth, they are looking to bring on a full time, hands on Accountant to help out This company has been described as high energy and tight knit. They are located in downtown Annapolis in a brand new building near the water The company has 20 properties and they oversee the financials for those properties This candidate will be the sole person in accounting Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm but can be flexible. Also open to part time if desired Candidates must be local to the Maryland area Duties Include: Apply rent to tenant (business) accounts Perform monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts Oversee financial books Input invoices and do data entry Desired Qualifications of the Accountant: Degree in Accounting (or relevant field) preferred Proficient in Excel Yardi experience a plus
