A busy, reputable, privately-owned optometry practice is seeking a, friendly, self-motivated technician with great communication and organizational skills. Excellent customer service and dependability are a must. Experience in the medical field would be helpful but is not required. The technician will be responsible for performing a wide variety of both clinical and administrative tasks to maximize patient flow and satisfaction. Duties will include, but are not limited to: conducting diagnostic tests, recording medical histories, testing eye function, instructing patients in insertion and removal of contact lenses, scheduling appointments and completing prescription prior-authorizations.
