Our client, a growing organization that is in the high tech construction space, is seeking a Senior Accountant to support them for a maternity leave. This is a fast-paced and complex organization where you will have exposure to challenging assignments. They value innovation and understand that the nature of business priorities shifting and changing.The Senior Accountant will provide support for the Accounting/Finance Team in the day-to-day operations and development of several large-scale data centers. The Senior Accountant will work with Property Management, Operations and Accounting personnel as well as Executive level staff within our organization. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, monthly draws and general ledger account reconciliations. The candidate will be detailed oriented and able to succeed in a fast-past environment.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrepare journal entriesReview corporate expense and overhead allocationsPerform account variance analyses and reconciliationsPrepare monthly and quarterly financial statements including supporting workpaper packagesReview invoices for proper coding and prepare for paymentReconcile and review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessaryPrepare monthly draw packages for submission to lendersAssist with due diligence tasks as required for Corporate Capital TransactionsCompile financial data and other audit requirementsPrepare monthly tenant and customer invoicesAssist with other accounting projects as neededTravel to sites, client meeting, trainings or conferences as requested and requiredPrepare monthly required tax filings for Sales and Use Tax and Exempt Fuel purchasesBasic Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree, Accounting Experience: 5-7 years in a professional business environmentRequired Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesAbility to train and motivate junior staff membersReal Estate experience a plusStrong business AcumenDemonstrated professional verbal and written communication skillsExperience with Yardi or equivalent software highly preferredExpertise in popular Microsoft office suite applications (eg Excel, Word, Outlook)Strong sense of urgency to accomplish tasks on or ahead of schedule while still maintaining accuracyVery strong organizational skills requiredVery strong attention to detail requiredAbility to multi-task while managing changing prioritiesAssertive personality style needed to ensure that processes are completed and moving on to the next stage of completionStrong work ethic and self- motivation requiredAbility to work overtime as requiredAbility to maintain excellent relationships with vendors, tenants and other departments within the CompanyAbility and willingness to respond to emails and phone calls after hours in the event of an emergency#acc14534062
