We do state of the art work and have a cadre of outstanding professionals on our team.This Data Engineer position is with SPA's Surety Programs Group (SPG) which supports government and private sector organizations ensuring the security, safety, and reliability of high consequence operations. SPG's philosophy is to help our clients understand and mitigate mission risks spanning physical, cyber, and human domains. The Data Engineer will work as part of a cross-functional team responsible for developing custom analytical tools and software products to systematically evaluate client threats, vulnerabilities, performance, and cost-risk trades. #CJ #IN123Responsibilities:The Data Engineer will determine business requirements and be responsible for database design and development. In addition, they will work with ETL processes and provide database maintenance and optimization.Qualifications:Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, or related discipline.Proficient in database design, implementation, SQL, ETL processes, and database programming.Experience working with database tools such as SQL Server, Access, and SQLite.Programming skills in languages such as R, Python, or C#.U.S. citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.Desired Qualifications:Experience developing .NET applications.Experience with setup and maintenance of Azure Stack Hub and Azure Kubernetes Service.Familiarity with Department of Defense cybersecurity practices.Experience with statistical analysis and machine learning.
