ABOUT THIS POSITIONKBR is seeking a Senior E-2 Engineering Technician for tasking which will provide engineering and integration support of new and legacy systems in the E2 Systems Test and Engineering Laboratory (ESTEL). Duties will require maintaining and integrating government furnished equipment (GFE) for the E2C and E2D platforms, such as Mission Computers, Advanced Control Indicator Sets, Combined Engagement Cooperatives, Identification Friend Foe, Joint Tactical Information Distribution System, Link-11, Multi-Function Cockpit Display Unit, SATCOMM, HF/UHF Radio equipment and associated antenna. Must be able to maintain and integrate commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) equipment, such as SA-CEP, MLST3, RISS, GTE, and HF/UHF Radio equipment.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:A high school diploma is required. A minimum of 3 years of experience working with E-2 aircraft electrical and avionics equipment to include fiber optical use and repair to include two (2) years of formal Electronics Training is required.A Secret Clearance is Required.ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:Selected candidate must have experience in fabricating and installing system and network cables in support of laboratory builds, as well as custom equipment for various projects. Must be proficient with test equipment to include: multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic, and spectrum analyzers. Should have experience with developing CAD drawings for cabling and systems.
