DoD Cloud Project Manager
Our DoD Cloud Team is looking for a highly talented and motivated DoD Cloud Project Manager that will be providing deliverables to support our DoD Cloud platform. This person will be critical in creating the playbook of managing multiple complex projects and partnerships for the Smartronix DoD Cloud Team.Our Project Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to the DoD customer and support the execution of a wide variety of projects including infrastructure deployment, operational improvements, business automation and application development and deployment. The project manager candidate must possess keen business development instincts, helping to grow revenue and increase profitability for the overall program. This individual must possess extensive knowledge of business processes and technical environments, software tools, business policies, management and monitoring utilities and procedures. They will drive Strategic Programs to optimize its business outcomes via executive communications, analysis, prioritization, organization and growing the program. The Project Manager will provide guidance to support and enable teams to deliver business value in ways that promote the Smartronix culture and our customer's success.Smartronix has been solving IT challenges for more than 25 years and has been at the forefront of delivering landmark cloud-enabled solutions. We are looking for experts who can build credibility and trust with our partners and provide knowledge that addresses individual and unique business needs.The DoD Cloud Project Manager will work closely with the DoD Program Director to:Oversee all aspects of multiple complex Cloud projects including finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and reportingExperience managing overall Cloud project budgets, reducing risk, aligning profits, and coordinating reports for invoicing for managed services, products, people, and customer budgets for multi-cloud deliveryInteract with client leadership and technical teams to define project requirements and identify solutions consistent with defined terms, methodology, policy, and regulations.Must demonstrate prior experience with project management and delivery management support for engagements covering infrastructure, network connectivity, identity, encryption, CI/CD and cloud migrationManage DoD client projects across multiple projects simultaneouslyLead the assigned team through the development of a project plan deliver the identified solution.Monitor IT Cloud projects on an ongoing basis, evaluating progress, quality, managing issue resolution, as necessary.Manage resource plan and identify resource risks.Manage schedules for multiple projects, engage customers, track, and resolve issues with strong levels of customer satisfactionProvide leadership guidance and direction to personnel to ensure proper, timely completion of work.Communicate project status to clients, management, and partners as appropriate.Cultivate effective working relationships with client, Smartronix, and partner teams to maximize productivity and customer service delivery.Anticipate problems or situations that could affect project success. Assess potential impact to the project and develop and execute the best solution. Manage escalated situations as needed.Provide personnel with timely, constructive, and actionable feedback that increases individual and team effectiveness.Required Skills and Experience:Clearance Requirement: ACTIVE DoD Secret Clearance or HigherBachelor's degree and 5+ years of leadership and relationship management experience while supporting large, complex projects.
