As a software engineer, you will closelycollaborate with UI/UX designers and Product Managers to design andimplement modern, delightful, and intuitive features that power SplunkObservability products. You will interact with early-access designpartners and other customers to understand their needs and problems.We are obsessed with solving customers' problems. We move fast anditerate quickly. We have ambitious goals to build best-of-its-kindproducts. You will help us win in a fast-growing market.ResponsibilitiesYou will design new features and drive their requirements andimplementation in Splunk Observability's codebase.You will participate in the design, implementation, maintenance, andevolution of Splunk Observability's web applications, web services, andAPIs.You will help build, support and maintain services.You will help improve engineering quality and operation excellence forthe whole frontend systems.RequirementsBS EE or CS degree; 8 + years related experience (or Masters and 6 +years related experience or PhD and 3+ years experience)Passionate about building elegant and powerful user interfaces to solvecustomer problems.Experience driving technical designs for frontend systems.The ability to adapt quickly and can solve problems throughuncertainty.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Leadership and mentoring skills and the ability to work with engineersand non-engineers of various skill levels.Extensive knowledge of web standards and modern browsers,responsive design, and of the full web technology stack.Proficiency in Javascript/Node or the ability to learn it quickly.Proficiency in Java and AWS tooling or the ability to learn it quickly.Bonus points for React, MongoDB, Typescript, and/or Scala experience.We value diversity at our company.
