This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a US Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract.Key Responsibilities:Individual will primarily be responsible for user experience, user workflow, design and 508 compliance.Provide options and recommend changes based on current design standards and trends.Provide assistance toward the development of potentially multiple map based web applications including implementation of new capabilities and bug fixes (include integration with data stores and Restful Services as well as potential for system design and architecture).Provide insight and help institute best practices, procedures for multiple applications and devise plans to accomplish goals including customer goals.Balance and prioritize multiple tasks, potentially gather insight from team members.Key Requirements:To be considered for this position you must have the following:Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.U.S. Citizenship.13 years experience is software engineering/ development or systems engineering/analysis.Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science (or related discipline) may be substituted substituted for three years of work experience.Master's degree in any of the above disciplines may be substituted for an additional two years of experience.Works well independently as well as on a team.Strong communication skills.Key Skills:Knowledgeable of geospatial applications.Knowledgeable of 508 Compliance.Leaflet.Development in Linux/Unix environment.Intellij or VSCode experience.Adobe Creative Suite (or other designer tools).HTML, CSS and Bootstrap.Basic JavaScript skills.Basic understanding of Javascript framework experience (React, Angular, Vue).Configuration management tools Git or similar.Familiar with Less and Sass.Understanding of responsive design and touch interface interaction techniques and be in sync with recent design standards and trends.Understanding of the limitations of web and mobile, with approaches/ideas to flex those boundaries.Create user"A' centered designs for software projects by considering customer feedback.Design the UI architecture, interface, and interaction flow of new web and on"A' device software applications.Create and evaluate interaction models, user task flows, screen designs, and UI details that promote ease of use and optimize the user experience.Breakdown complex requirements and concepts into well"A' thought visual designs and workflows.Ability to work collaboratively with developers, project managers, and cross"A' functional teams to ensure that designs are successfully created and implemented to achieve the user goal.Experience creating UI specs & wireframes.Flexibility and willingness to move from idea to whiteboard, to execution quickly and provide choices to stakeholders.Location: Hanover, Maryland + Partial Telework (MUST LIVE WITHIN ONE HOUR FROM ON-SITE)Salary: Based on Education, Years of Experience, Skill and AbilitiesCheck Out Our Benefits:Paid Time OffMedical, Dental & Vision BenefitsLife & Disability InsurancesTuition, Training & Certification Reimbursement401K ContributionEmployee Referral Bonus ProgramEquipment ReimbursementTeam Engagement & OutingsSwag And more!Learn more about GliaCell Technologies: apply for this position, respond to this job posting and attach an updated resume for us to review.GliaCell Technologies, LLC is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
