The Sales Development Representative 1 plays a critical role in identifying, developing, and qualifying leads to help drive the growth of technology companies' public sector business.Summary of Essential Job FunctionsConduct lead generation activities via call campaigns to uncover new business opportunities for technology companiesExecute sales activities in alignment to SDR 1 KPIs and metricsProspect, call, set up and confirm meetings between technology companies and government customersDocument all calls and other sales activities and customer/technology company interaction in company CRM Smart, and create and link to appropriate opportunities in the systemExecute and adhere to DLT Lead Pass documentation and submission processEstablish and maintain ongoing business relationships with technology company reps, channel partner reps, and government customers to grow DLT contact database and overall public sector networkMeet and exceed established performance goalsOther duties as assigned to meet company objectivesMinimum Qualifications:Education: College Degree or equivalent work or military experienceExperience(s): 0-2 years of sales experienceExperience in sales or business environmentPreferred Qualifications:Business or marketing internship experienceExperience selling technology products or servicesExperience using CRMCultural Competency Requirements:Within DLT Solutions, a Tech Data Company, diversity is one of our fundamental shared values.
