JOB TITLE: HR/Accounting AdministratorREPORTS TO: Human Resources ManagerCONTRACT: 9 MonthsSUMMARY OF DETAILS:Under general supervision, the HR/Accounting Administrator is responsible for assisting with the daily accounting and human resources needs of the organization. These include, but are not limited to, processing accounts payable, processing payroll using ADP with Time and Attendance, and assisting with benefits administration. This position reports to the CFO and the Human Resources Manager. While assisting both departments, the HR/Accounting Administrator strives to provide exemplary customer service to internal and external customers while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: PAYROLL ADMINISTRATION:Process payroll in an accurate and timely mannerTime and Attendance approval and maintenanceMulti-state payroll administrationPost payroll reporting to include sending accounting post payroll summariesHUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATION:Assist with recruitment and new hire orientationEmployee on/offboarding administrationMaintain employee personnel filesCoordination and updates on benefit portals when employees become/lose eligibility and updates of annual Open EnrollmentACCOUNTS PAYABLE:Post invoices/transactions in Accounts Payable systems PaletteReconcile Accounts Payable supplier accountsAssist in emails and calls with supplier inquires and disputesQUALIFICATIONS:Associate degree in Business or related field2-3 years of experience processing payrollExperience working with ADPFamiliarity with chart of accountsStrong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to research, analyze, and retrieve data necessary to complete duties
