Conditions of Employee:
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship required Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Requirement.

  • This position requires a Tier 1 (T1) investigation with Childcare Checks since its duties require interaction with children and youth under the age of eighteen (18) years of age.

Qualifications

Substitute Teacher: Applicants who hold a Bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited college or university will be appointed to the Substitute Teacher position.

Training Instructor: Applicants who hold a high school diploma or GED but less than a Bachelor's
degree will be appointed to the Training Instructor position.

Education

To qualify based on education, you must submit a legible photocopy of official transcripts from an accredited institution with your name, school name, credit hours, course level, major(s), and gradepoint average or class ranking.
Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet qualification requirements, you must show that your education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.

This announcement may be used for the purpose of filling temporary, intermittent (on call, as needed) seasonal positions for School Year 2021-2022.

Pay rates will be determined by position:

Substitute Teacher : $17.34 per hour.
