Summary

Joining the Secret Service, Office of Technical Development and Mission Support, Technical Security Division, you will be supporting TSD operations by conducting studies on various programs, developing reports and communication strategies, identifying inefficiencies and recommending comprehensive solutions. This Management and Program Analyst position starts at a salary of $87,198 (GS-12 step 1), with promotion potential to $134,798 (GS-13 step 10).

Responsibilities

The selectee will serve as Management and Program Analyst in the Office of Technical Development and Mission Support, Technical Security Division. Typical work assignments include:
  • Analyzing data generated from agency systems and organizes the information in the form of data dashboards, comprehensive reports, briefs, or presentation that informs mangers of a solution or recommendation.
  • Coordinating and leading studies evaluating program line operations; formulating recommendations; and planning the successive phases of the study.
  • Conducting reviews of highly technical or foundational documents such as policies, procedures, federal laws, or regulations.
  • Preparing briefing documents or executive summaries that highlight data analysis in a clear and concise manner. .

Qualifications

You qualify for the GS-12 level (starting salary $87,198) if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level performing duties such as: analyzing data, policies, and procedures to determine if program objectives are being met; providing technical guidance on program operations; and preparing briefing, technically authoritative documents and information products.

Time-in-Grade: Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. Qualifications Must Be Met: The qualification requirements listed above must be met by the closing date of this announcement.

The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) must authorize employment offers made to current or former political appointees. How You Will Be Evaluated

You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.

Your application will be rated on the extent and quality of your experience, education and training relevant to the duties of the position.
