Position SummaryBranch Civil is searching for an experienced and safety-oriented Fine Grade Motor Operator to join our well-established, growing company. The Fine Grade Motor Operator operates self-propelled motor grader and, from stakes and lines, cuts sub-grade and performs other fine grade operations, requiring considerable experience and a high degree of skill.Must be familiar with GPS, 2-D, & grading with string line. Minimum 3 years experience. Duties/ResponsibilitiesMay oil, grease, service and make normal operating adjustments to equipmentScraping and leveling dirt on roadwaySpreading and mixing materials on roadwayShaping and blading subgradesBalancing and rough shaping base course materialsFine grading and dressing of shoulders and slopesRoutine cleaning of equipment and work areaMay perform other related duties Duties/Responsibilities Cont. Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position which will typically involve 40+ hours a week. Due to the nature of the job, the employee must be available on-call early/late hours to deal with delays, bad weather and emergencies at the job site.
