The Budget & Reporting Senior Financial Analyst supports the Digital Finance & Budget Assistant Director and Digital Finance & Budget Executive Director by assisting with key tasks during the budget process, developing and maintaining standard reporting, and creating presentation materials to drive decision-making.Department-specific Essential Job Functions (add specific functions if necessary):Provide relevant inputs to the Budget Planning manager to inform calendar/assumptionsAssist with the creation of financial targets by entity and departmentSupport JHM budgeting and planning processesPerform periodic checks on data to ensure accuracy and that parameters/dimensions are set up correctlyLoad and apply assumptions to budgets, adjusting if necessaryRun reports to validate budget assumptions, update where necessaryIdentify and maintain volume guidelinesAnalyze the performance of financials and business driversDrive financial reporting and analytics, business case development, and business performance review and reportingSupport the entity reporting requirements, as instructed by the Digital Finance & Budget Assistant DirectorGather data and create management reportsAssist with the consolidation of all entity and department budgetsAssists with the preparation of financial statement budgets - IS, BS, & CFAggregate data to extract complex financial outputs in a manner that is understandable and actionable by managementAddress ad-hoc reporting requests as required, including creating dashboards, etcMaintain systems/ tools used to create reportsSupport Finance Transformation and Budget Process Enhancement projectsProvide input required to update budget guidelines and processes.Johns Hopkins Health System and its affiliates are an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employers.
