Together SIR and SIR Foundation have nearly 50 staff, combined annual revenues of $12.6 million, and assets of nearly $17 million.Position SummaryThe HR Business Partner is responsible for helping to position SIR as an employer of choice through creative content, outreach and recruiting strategies. SIR is growing and this role affords increased responsibility across all HR functions, overseeing multiples aspects of human resource management including recruiting, benefits, compliance, HRIS and employee engagement activities. This role will report to the Director of Human Resources and will be a vital contributor to employee engagement and organizational success.Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesRecruiting:Work closely with hiring managers to craft realistic and compelling job descriptionsLeverage digital recruiting tools to attract and source candidates and build a candidate pipelineManage all aspects of the interview phases, complete reference checks and negotiate employment offersConduct and/or manage the entire onboarding process from prestart date through six-month introductory periodBenefit Administration:Oversee and manage benefit administration of SIR's health and welfare benefits in partnership with the third-party administratorOversee the open enrollment period and serve as the contact person for employee benefit questions and changesTranslate complex benefit announcements or changes and communicate to staff as neededCollaborate with the third-party administrator to meet all compliance requirementsHR Operational Excellence:Serve as a subject matter expert in the use of Paylocity, SIR's HRIS by maintaining all employee administrative records and leveraging full capabilitiesMaintain and update the employee handbook, draft organizational policies and deliver relevant communication updates to staffMaintain the SIR career web pageServe as a lead for staff engagement activities that include social, informational and recognition eventsMaintain and build metrics that will support innovate HR practice improvement at SIRKeep current on HR-related and legal industry subject matter and advocate for appropriate changes to policies and proceduresDevelop office safety and emergency procedures. Requirements:Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, highly developed interpersonal skills - individual, groupStrong understanding and interest in positioning SIR as an employer of choice through creative, contemporary outreach and recruiting strategies.Ability to excel in a fast paced, complex environment and meet tight deadlinesKnowledge of Federal, State and Local labor laws and familiarity with HR compliance requirementsMS Office suite (Work, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)HRIS Administration, Paylocity a plusEducation:BS Human resources, business administration, or a related field.SHRM Certification or equivalentExperience:3-5 years' HR experience with concentration in recruitingWorking Conditions/Physical Requirements:Small, fast paced open office environment with moderate noise levels. Use of phones and computers for extended periods of time. Utilize office equipment and communication technologies for conference calls and teleconference meetings/webinars. Requires general mobility to move through the facility. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Frequent interaction with internal staff and physician members/board via phone, in person, email and other mediums. Normal sitting and standing activities for an office environment.
