Interacts with our bar guests to ensure they have a great experience when patronizing our bar/lounge. Bartenders are responsible for positive guest interactions while serving in a friendly and efficient manner. At all times, bartenders are expected to be attentive to both our internal and external guest needs. Making our external guests feel welcome, comfortable, special and relaxed while providing our internal guests (servers) with prompt and accurate drink service. Maintain a Guest focus while performing all duties Assume 100% responsibility for our guests' quality experience Provide timely and accurate drink service to restaurant and lounge server staff Welcome and greet guests within two minutes. Complete menu knowledge - able to answer questions regarding our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services. Make genuine recommendations of specific beverage, appetizer, entree and desserts. Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter in our POS system. Keep bar area & bar top clean and well-maintained. Perform side work during each shift as required. Complete opening and closing checklists. Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return. Attend all scheduled employee meeting and brings suggestions for improvement. Notify manager-on-duty any time a guest is not 100% satisfied with their experience.
