Role & Responsibilities: You are data-driven and have a track record of taking successful new bets on growth. You have managed significant media budgets successfully against performance targets. You have direct media buying expertise as well as experience in growth strategies more broadly. You are excited to take bigger, calculated risks to drive new growth strategies. You have successfully built, mentored, motivated, and retained world-class growth teams. . Lead Chopra's Growth org, which is comprised of Acquisition and Retention . Empower Chopra's acquisition team to optimize Chopra's media mix to maximize scale and return; test into new channels and new markets to unlock subscriber growth . Lead Chopra's lifecycle/retention team to drive deeper engagement and impact . Scale Chopra's growth team with world-class talent . Partner with Data, Engineering and Product to improve Chopra's understanding of Paid performance and to unlock additional opportunities to scale . Collaborate with Content and Brand Marketing teams on campaigns to introduce Chopra to new audiences . Drive vision and integrated strategy for growth marketing efforts across all touchpoints, including paid acquisition, SEO, ASO, retargeting, and retention marketing . Attract, develop and retain a talented team that leads the industry in innovation and best practices . Define and drive from an integrated growth model that acts as the backbone of our strategic approach to growth . Implement best practices for experimentation frameworks, analysis, and reporting methodology . Establish spend models that enable optimal allocation for ecosystem health and ROI positive management of media spend . Manage and grow vendor relationships and develop integrated solutions across all performance marketing channels search, social, third-party networks, and programmatic . Drive lifecycle marketing efforts across push, chat, in-app modal, and e-mail to retain and re-engage users working with retention marketing managers team . Drive personalization efforts of lifecycle communications in partnership with product, design, data science and business intelligence. . Own cross functional projects in partnership with product, business intelligence, data science, design, and user research to create and implement new experiences that meaningfully drive growth Competencies . 10+ years of experience in growth (with specific experience in large-scale user acquisition) and within larger growth orgs. . Proven track record scaling and retaining high-performing Growth teams . High-level strategic thinker with the ability to understand what's going on at granular levels of performance . Proficiency in BI tools, including but not limited to Tableau, Amplitude, Excel . Strong communicator, both written and verbal . Strong analytical skills, able to understand variables and apply logic to new problems . Proactive, will follow up when things don't get resolved . Results oriented, takes ownership of outcomes and communicates learnings to the rest of the team . Demonstrated experience B2C technology experience in a growth role . Built and executed with full ownership multimillion dollar budgets and developed models and approaches for investment and measurement . Proven ability to drive both top and bottom-line results . Experience in holistic growth planning - research, forecasting, planning, execution, and performance analysis . Developed company's core paid channels, as well as all processes, policies, and procedures . Demonstrated proficiency with multiple channels of paid marketing - SEM, SEO, social, mobile, display, affiliate . Advanced knowledge of marketing automation across acquisition and retention . Proven ability to coach and grow talent and organizational capabilities .
