Experience designing, deploying and managing Windows 2016 and 2019 server technologies, in Cloud (Azure/AWS), VMWare and physical hardware. . Subject Matter Expertise with high performance storage hardware solutions (NetApp), Fiber channel SAN fabrics and NAS solutions (NetApp) including replication to DR sites (NetApp SnapMirror). . Implement and manage high performance, highly available, secure and scalable enterprise storage solutions including SAN storage systems, NAS and Hyper Converged Infrastructure (HCI) technologies. . Manage and monitor physical on premise storage and compute infrastructure ensuring that hardware and software is compliant with company standards and optimize enterprise-wide storage platforms to ensure availability and capacity to meet business needs. . Install, Manage and troubleshoot VMware vSphere 6.7/7.0 in a Cisco Unified Communications System (UCS) environment. . Design and manage systems in multi-datacenter environments, including HA/DR design. . Proficient with VMware Site Recovery Manager. . Coordinate and perform system patching for ESXi hosts. . Experience with Active Directory including but not limited to Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, ADFS and Certificate Authority. . Cloud System Architecture/Design, including Network Security Group Management and JSON template deployment for an environment supporting 3000 users in Azure (other cloud platforms a plus). . Excellent oral and written communication skills and significant experience providing in-person technical briefings for executive audiences. . Experience creating and updating SOPs and comprehensive technical documentation for all systems listed above. . Excellent time management and task management abilities, must be able to plan and execute complex interdependent activities across both IT systems and people-based processes. . System architecture, design, maintenance and OS upgrade projects. . Ability to work independently as well as with a team. . Ability to multi-task on operational issues in a group environment. Basic Qualifications: 10-15 years of experience in a Systems Administrator/Engineer role and able to provide engineering and operational support Attention to detail . Willingness to work in Microsoft Azure Government. AWS is a plus. . PowerShell Scripting/automation of administrative tasks. . Work within major team initiatives and identify automation opportunities across Active Directory Domain Services, Cloud (Azure) VMware, NetApp, Backups and Monitoring. . Experience deploying and managing Windows Server 2016 clustering capabilities, SQL always-on. . Creation of PowerShell scripts and ARM templates that automate manual tasks. . Automation of tasks that outputs reports, data and sends notifications via text and email. . Proven record of identifying and implementing efficiencies in support of the customer. .
