Overview: Plow & Hearth, LLC is searching for an innovative thinker to fill the role of a Full Stack Developer, working across the various systems that power our eCommerce business to solve technical challenges and shape the future of our digital environments. This role is critical in helping Plow & Hearth's family of brands maintain frictionless eCommerce shopping experiences that create enjoyable online shopping experiences for our customers and fuel a healthy, growing business. We are looking for a confident developer with experience in Spring MVC/Java EE to help guide the implementation of our SAP Commerce tools, as well as work in the .NET framework and IIS to support other internal business systems. This individual must be passionate about problem solving, possess excellent troubleshooting capabilities and ultimately love providing awesome technology experiences to customers across our family of brands. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Integrate e-commerce solutions within a diverse technical environment; work with tools like SAP Hyrbis/Commerce, home-grown order management systems, and best-in-class marketing technologies to help facilitate smooth transactions and shopping experiences for our customers. Analyze and implement complex requirements from business partners across the organization; working across teams spanning from marketing, IT, creative, finance and logistics to scope and build technological features to deliver seamless customer experiences. Maintain quality output through rigorous testing practices; work alongside eCommerce teammates to develop and practice testing protocol and best practices. Support and maintain systems integrity of cloud-based infrastructure. Perform routine server maintenance. Be the technological expert to help deliver best-in-class technology solutions that accelerate business and keep up with the rapidly changing world of eCommerce. Expertly document and maintain system features; possess a firm understanding of current state architectures and advocate for ongoing improvements to technical solutions. Communicate with peers, stakeholders, vendors and partners to develop innovative solutions that fuel positive eCommerce experiences; manage relationships and key development projects that keep our business moving forward. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience Excellent troubleshooting skills 3-5 years' experience with Spring MVC/Java EE 3-5 years' experience in Front-End development with responsive layouts 3-5 years' experience with .NET framework and IIS 3-5 years' experience with managing SQL database Preferred Background in E-commerce environment Demonstrated knowledge of WCAG 2.0 standards Java application design within Linux OS Application tuning capabilities - identify and implement Advanced caching techniques through CDN and Spring/Java Bootstrap/LESS/jQuery Internationalization/Localization within Spring/Java REST API integration Java/.NET Experience with scalable architecture Plus SAP Commerce Cloud/Hybris/HANA UI design Application/Network Security Google Developer Center - APIs and Tag Manager Zeplin concept conversion to practical HTML Experience in systems/data architecture IntelliJ IDEA JUnit implementation AWS S3 and CloudFront
