Responsibilities Guidehouse has an exciting opportunity in our National Security Segment to provide SharePoint and web development support for an emergency management client. Our management consulting professionals help our clients identify, evaluate, and solve some of their most complex challenges, assisting them in achieving their strategic goals and objectives to fulfill their mission and comply with Federal laws and regulations. This position directly supports executive level workflows, task management, knowledge management (KM), administrative, and SharePoint development needs. In this role, workflow and KM functions require close collaboration with the client as well as direct support to designated projects and initiatives. The candidate should have comfort in working with cross-functional teams as well as: Support the use of O365 Applications including SharePoint Online, Teams, Power Platform tools, and other internal collaboration tools with design and development expertise Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint Online pages, web applications, application databases, and interactive web interfaces Evaluate code to ensure it is properly structured, meets industry standards, and is compatible with browsers and devices Optimize website performance, scalability, and server-side code and processes Develop website infrastructure and integrate websites with other computer applications Maintain client internal sites, platforms, and tools used to house products and information related to communication activities by completing content edits, making changes to site design, and configuration as needed to address user and stakeholder issues Support content publishing for planned communication activities Conduct, design, and analyze user experience and usability testing results, incorporating findings into the product Qualifications The following qualifications are REQUIRED to be considered for this role: Due to our contractual requirements, to be eligible for this role, you must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated at time of hire. 3+ years of relevant work experience Experience with development of Classic and Modern SharePoint pages Experience with creating and developing cloud-based applications with workflows using Power Automate and Power Apps Superior communication skills, both written and verbal Expert in the use of Microsoft Teams and O365 Microsoft Suite applications (including but not limited to Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Forms, Power Platform Suite) Must be able to write thorough and concise functional and design specifications as well as easily readable end user documentation Must be able to brainstorm with others, thrive in a collaborative team environment, multitask, and quickly adapt to change Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance The following experience/education/skills are PREFERRED to be considered for this role: Knowledge of accessibility and 508 requirements and leading practices in accessible user interface design Understanding of web design and Microsoft best practices Experience creating human-centered design solutions Experience with SharePoint 2016 and 2019 Knowledge with various programming languages including, but not limited to, C#, ASP.NET, HTML5, CSS, and XML Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, or related discipline is desired Additional Requirements The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.
