Objective: To provide PD/HHD education and training to all customers while supporting the renal sales team. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Complete documentation, review programs, and obtain all ANNA CEUs Serves as a liaison expert resource for completion of PD prescriptions (calls clinic RNs to facilitate best Rx for patient and forwards to pharmacy) Serves as PD/HHD expert/resource for Renal. (The field will provide contact information and forward any questions) Maintains and updates all policies related to PD/HHD Responsible for keeping up-to-date training handouts and videos (The AE/NC will be given videos for their IPad to utilize for customer training) Conduct regional trainings on a quarterly basis depending on customer needs (AE/NC will help to fill these training slots) Assists with new hire training/LMS as needed Responsible for managing nurse consultants Works closely with RCM to make sure training items required arrive at units on a timely basis. Coordinate unit training with all ancillary departments including customer service, sales, and ordering/receiving supplies Provide patient education relevant to renal disease and coexisting diagnoses Function as an advocate for IDPN/IPN therapy by consulting with ordering physician, nurse, pharmacist and dietitians as needed Maintain weekly communication with clinical team for progress reports and updates Complete accurate expense reports Maintains nursing licensure for all states in which Pentec Health operates or intends to operate Perform other renal therapy as needed Non Essential Duties and Responsibilities Mentor new employees Function as a clinical resource for Sales team Special projects as assigned Skills, Competencies and Experience: Required 2 years renal experience required Possess strong written and verbal communication skills as well as excellent customer service skills Demonstrate resourcefulness and proactive problem solving skills Possess strong organizational and process skills Demonstrate the ability to work well with all staff levels as well as work independently Possess a strong clinical background with excellent assessment skills. Demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure and multi-task Preferred HHD/PD experience preferred. Education,Certifications, Trainings: Required Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and the ability to become and maintain licensure in another state if needed CPR certification- active Equipment : Required Intermediate computer skills with programs such as Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point Dependable automobile with safe driving record and current driver's license/insurance policy Location: Pentec Health . Contracts Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift, 9-5
