Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices PenFed Realty (PenFed Realty), a wholly owned subsidiary of PenFed Credit Union (PenFed), is hiring a Manager, Product Owner in Alexandria, Virginia. The primary purpose of this job is to be responsible for driving and defining the launch and continuous improvement of new and existing products and services and must be resourceful, flexible, and accessible. This position will also be responsible for collaborating with peers to ensure a consistent user experience across digital channels. Collaborate with the Digital Product Manager and key stakeholders throughout the organization to understand business objectives and priorities. Ability to understand the business and competitive landscape to help shape goals and objectives. Lead the facilitation of digital solutions for the scrum team, collaborating with business, legal, risk, operations, and technology teams to prioritize and deliver solutions that align with the company's mission and strategic goals. Collaborate with UI/UX team, product scrum team and product leaders to establish timeline workflows and goals. Manage the scrum team's backlog of user stories and lead grooming efforts based on overall priorities. Consolidate data into user stories and necessary product requirements, and translate business requirements into viable features and stories. Prioritize and assign features based on strategic goals and objectives. Continually drive product development towards a meaningful balance between user needs, business objectives, resource utilization, and technical feasibility. Create and maintain team's work in JIRA/Confluence. Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies. Represent the product team in departmental planning. Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies to optimize the product development process. Ability to work in a fast paced agile & dynamic environment. *This role is responsible for ensuring business continuity.* Qualifications Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered. Bachelor's degree in business, computer science or related field or have a combination of education and work experience that provides the necessary skills and knowledge to satisfactorily perform the essential job. . Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in technology, marketing, experience, or product field. . Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a product owner and/or business analyst. . Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with Salesforce.com. . Experience with Agile development methodology including daily scrum and weekly iteration reviews and planning. . Proven leadership and communication skills and be versed in agile methodologies. . Knowledge of and experience with JIRA/Confluence required. Passionate about user experience, technology and showing eagerness to work with the bleeding-edge tech stack. . Experience in performance optimization. Strong time management skills; efficient at multi-tasking and able to work under pressure to deliver multiple business demands on time, to a high-level standard. Passionate about building digital solutions that are resilient, secure and scalable to function in a global, 24/7 intensive business environment. Ability to work in a fast paced agile & dynamic environment. Licenses and Certifications Certified Product Owner or equivalent certification preferred Salesforce certified Administrator, Sales Consultant, or equivalent certification preferred. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise. *Most roles require working in an office setting with moderate noise and the ability to lift 25 pounds.* Travel Ability to travel to various worksites and be on-call may be required.
